Arthritis and the Underwater Treadmill

Max is a 12 year old dog and suffers from osteoarthritis in his hips. He originally started hydrotherapy because he was having difficulty going up the stairs on his own. Max’s owners were carrying him up the stairs to bed. Hydrotherapy has helped Max to improve his muscle mass and joint range of motion so that he is now able to go up the stairs unassisted.
