Since the 1960’s, Americans have been eating less saturated fat and consuming more vegetable oils, all in an attempt to prevent heart disease. Unfortunately, these days heart disease is the number one killer of American men and women, killing hundreds of thousands each year, and being responsible for 1 in 4 deaths.1 Since we’ve been anything but successful in our attempts to abolish heart disease, we need to completely re-evaluate the situation. Have we been wrong.?
