Two thirds of adults with arthritis do little or no regular walking. Regular walking has a great impact on adults with arthritis.
Nancy Walsh writing in MedPage Today reported, “Two-thirds of adults with arthritis do little or no regular walking, despite the disease-specific potential benefits of increased physical activity, according to a report from the CDC” published in Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report. “In a nationwide telephone survey, 53% of respondents with arthritis said they didn’t walk at all, while 13.1% walked for less than 90 minutes each week, the agency reported.”
